Event Times:

8:00-9:00: Packet pick-up, race day registration, team gathering.
9:00-10:00: 5k run/walk
10:00-11:00: Post race party, awards ceremony, charity presentation.

Event Staging:

The pre-race activities (packet pick-up, race day registration, team gathering etc) will take place in the west picnic area right next to the pavilion. The post-race party featuring a bagel buffet brunch (boozy whenever possible), music, photographs and more will be staged there as well. Seating will be available either at the picnic tables located underneath the pavilion or at the banquet tables set up on the grass.

Race Course:

Starting in the West Picnic Area, race course is an out and back on the bike/running paths. Participants will go past the Marina, boathouse, ice rink and tennis courts and will finish at the West Picnic Area.

Party & Catering:

We will be providing everybody with a buffet brunch featuring, bagels & spreads, danish, muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit and juices. Whenever possible, the brunch will be “boozy” with make your own Mimosas, beer and hard seltzer. For teams that want to do something a bit more elaborate on the food and beverage side, you are welcome to cater your own team picnic. We will provide comfortable table seating for your entire team. Picnic and banquet tables will both be available. Our D.J will be playing music from event start to finish. Our photographer will be taking team and individual photos.

Awards & Charity Presentation:

At 10:30, we will be starting the awards ceremony and charity presentation. Performance awards (plaques) will be given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male & female finishers. Team awards (plaques) will be given to the 1st place male & female company, social and club teams. In addition, trophies to the largest team, team with best tee shirt, most spirited team and largest fundraising team. The charity presentation will include some words about Make-A-Wish, a summary of fundraising totals (which will include a CFR donation check), and hopefully the granting of a wish to a sick child.

Parking:

Main parking at the West Picnic Area. We will be using the designated parking spots as well as the entire grass section adjoining the lot. Overflow parking across the street from the West Picnic area if needed.

Registration Fee:

$47 per team member.

Race Day Registration:

Although discouraged, (please sign up in advance) it is available.
